Who’s who at the Scottish Arts Council

As well as our 90 employed staff, the Scottish Arts Council depends on the work of many other people to champion the arts for Scotland. These people contribute their time and expertise to the work of the Scottish Arts Council and work as Joint board members, Committee members and Specialist advisors.

Ethical Standards in Public Life

The Scottish Arts Council is a public body, affected by the Ethical Standards in Public Life (Scotland) Act 2000. 

We are required to adopt a Code of Conduct based on the Model Code of Conduct for Members of Devolved Public Bodies as approved by the Scottish Parliament.  The Code covers areas of individual responsibility such as:

• General Conduct
• Registration of Interests
• Declaration of Interests and
• Lobbying and Access to Members of Public Bodies
